Challenge – Industrial equipment manufacturer
had a 12-month backorder of instruction manuals.
We set up an online fulfillment system that lets the manufacturer’s
customers order manuals directly from us. The manufacturer
gave us updated files for each manual, and we implemented
a secure, online ordering system. Each manual is produced
in small quantities, allowing for frequent revisions and reduced
storage needs. Administrative access lets a manager view reports
on orders and monitor inventory. These process improvements
have led to significant efficiency and service improvements
– and fewer complaints.
Challenge – Accounting firm with multiple
offices created print inventory nightmares for central supply.
We set up an online ordering system that each office can
access when it needs customized letterhead, envelopes, business
cards and other materials. Online PDF files allow visual inspections
for accuracy before ordering. All orders are sent to our production
department, where they are printed, packaged and shipped.
Central supply can access and compile reports to monitor costs
and inventory, while the system lets us bill each office separately.
The process has improved efficiency, lowered costs and eliminated
headaches and errors.
Challenge – International heating
equipment manufacturer needed cost-effective – yet personalized
– direct mail pieces.
We printed thousands of master postcards in flawless process
color for an upcoming trade show. The customer supplied a
database containing digital files of their sales managers’
contact information, along with their customers’ mailing
information. We programmed our variable data equipment to
imprint each sales manager’s contact information and
the show details on the exact number of cards needed for each
sales territory, then addressed and mailed the cards. With
variable data, the manufacturer achieved high-quality, personalized
results at a reasonable cost.
